About me

Agnieszka Prącik

I am a certified speech therapist and have MA degree in nursing. I have many years of professional experience as a speech therapist which I gained while working in a nursery, in a Polish-English kindergarten and in a speech therapy clinic.

I love working with people, especially children, who are my greatest inspiration.

As an experienced practitioner, I am convinced that children learn best through play. Play appropriately matched to the child’s age and possible problems has a comprehensive impact on the child’s speech development, enabling the acquisition of social norms and preparing them for learning at school.

I work using various methods and always treat the patient individually. This approach ensures accurate diagnosis, selection of an appropriate therapy plan and its effective implementation.

I constantly improve my qualifications by participating in conferences, training and workshops in field of speech therapy and medicine.

I try to share my knowledge and experience with others. While working in Poland, I conducted exercises in the Elements of Orthodontics for students of Postgraduate Speech Therapy Studies in Krakow, Limanowa and Przemyśl, and independently coordinated the subject “Development of children’s speech” during Postgraduate Studies at the University of Economics in Cieszyn.

What do I do?

I currently run a private speech therapy practice and work in a hospital as a nurse. I actively cooperate with the Polish Saturday School in Warwick of which I am a co-founder and one of the Trustees.
